ALFA TANGO SUPERCOMMITTEE N° 03 – 2004:

"174AT0 - Exceptional activation by 21AT116 Chris and 21AT139 Patrik from this rare and dangerous African country. We received all proofs as AT 10 commandments: tickets, passports, several local receipts, pictures about the two transmission’s locality Victoria Lake and Nile river source and also we received post cards direct from there."

Shadow DX'ers has once again given you a unique chance to log one of 11-meter's most wanted DXCC's.

The team arrived in Uganda February 20 and was active for 10 days working close to 3000 contacts in 84 DXCCs from two different locations.

Read all about our Ssese Islands and Source of the Nile locations.

Highly portable equipment was used, main setup being a Yaesu FT-897 with 100 watts and a full wave Shadow Loop antenna.

The team wants to thanks all of you who participated in the extensive preparations, in the pileup and those who offered the sponsorship and support to the expedition.

A special thanks goes to John 47DX101 for propagation reports and extensive support during the whole expedition, to Niko 13DX028 for this amazing website, to Christian 30DX401 for his dedication to help us get the message out when the activity started and to Toni 3AT018 for greeting us with his great spirit and company every night when propagation was slowing down.

Stay tuned to this website, several updates coming are scheduled in the next coming dates.

"As the QSL manager I have one request: if possible, I prefer IRC instead of US$, this is because 1USD only covers less than 70% of a stamp, while the IRC cover 100%. Of course also all sending USD will be replied to 100%, I know IRC is hard to get in some places. And please be sure you get the IRC stamped and valid, otherwise impossible for me to use it..."

DSS Members will received their QSL cards via DSS System as a result of an agreement between Shadow DX'ers and DSS.
