Welcome to Kökar Island (EU-002), a beautiful and remote island community with population 270 in the south east corner of the Åland Islands Archipelago. To get to Kökar Island we had first to cross the Baltic Sea from Stockholm to Långnäs and the take a second ferry to Kökars.

Our operating time at Kökar was 24 hours of which many hours where without propagation at all. 21AT116 Chris worked a total of 134 stations from Kökar and 21DX139 Patrik worked a total of 74 stations. Most common division in the log is France representing more than 40% of all stations logged. Very few DX were logged, but compliments to 12AT060 and 34SD002 for taking the effort to cut through to us. On the way back, we made another 29 contacts from Lumparland Island

Our operation was very short and propagation was weak, it was not easy to log us, so we want to extend our thanks to all stations who tried to work us, regardless of success or not.
